I've been involved with online recovery sites since 2004, and have learned much about Recovery, the 12 step programs, computers and life in general. Getting clean and sober has changed my life in all aspects and the "old" life is something I never have to go back to, as long as I follow the suggestions from the 12 step programs. Life is good, living it one day at a time.

I'm 65 yrs. old, married 36 years, mother of 4, grandmother of 11 and I live in Ontario, Canada.
I've been involved in & managing on-line groups for 8 yrs now and it has helped me grow so much. You see I'm hearing impaired and always had a hard time hearing at f2f meetings (most times couldn't hear), so couldn't get involved the way I would have liked to. So as a result always had a hard time sharing except for 1 on 1, and still do. But on-line, as long as I can see, I can hear lol.

My profile is simple. I am a 56 year old lady who Lives in Vancouver, B C canada. I am a mother of two and grandmother to 3 boys.
My sobriety date is July 1st, 1984, I am A.A. and N.A.
Love being a part of Circle for Recovery and being a chatroom moderator, I love meeting new people, and helping others.
My interests vary, but I love volunteering here and other places. I am service oriented as I clean central office here and do the newletters for the area office.

I"m 63 and live in Ontario, Canada. My DOS is 06/30/88 but I've been in the program since 76, had a couple of relapses in the first 10 yrs, but started right back at meetings after each one, learned from them and they made me stronger. Thanks to God and A.A. I'm still alive today. And Thanks to all of you for being here for me.

I am 65, from Ontario, Canada and have been sober through the Grace of God for 17 years. I am twice divorced, have a son from my first marriage, who is in active addiction. I am as powerless over his addiction as I am my own, so I go to Al-Anon.
I do Community Service by volunteering at the Internet Cafe which is free to the people of the community and at the local Detention Center. Service has always been a big part of my recovery. I have my own web sites and am a moderator on two others. I am always reminded that I can't keep my sobriety unless I give it away and share with others.
I am a member of my local Bridge Club and I feel it is my responsibility to take my program out of the rooms as well as in the rooms of recovery.
