programs believe that we can only keep our sobriety, if we share
it with others, especially the newcomers. For some of us, it took many, many years of living in despair, to find this new life, and others, luckily, not so long. You don't have to reach "bottom", before you find recovery. There's an old saying in the programs, that "if you stick around long enough, sooner or later, you will hear your OWN story". We are all unique human beings, but we are NOT unique when it comes to alcoholism and addiction. We have a disease that we will fight together. Please join in, and participate on our forums, posting your story, and other activities that we do on this site, so that just MAYBE, what you say, MIGHT just help another like yourself, stay clean/sober for another 24 hours, One Day at a Time.
